Rumiko Takahashi is infamous for littering her work with multilingual puns.
In Ranma 1/2, the character "Shampoo" is always found in close proximity to the character named "Cologne" and is always followed by the character named "Mousse." Also, Shampoo's name is written with kanji that, depending on how they are read, can mean "girl from the mountains" or "girl who has breasts that are like mountains." The manga is full of horrible puns that require a grasp of multiple languages to understand just how groaningly horrible they are.
